SFS strengthens its competence in facade fastening.
08. July 2016 - SFS strengthens its competence in facade fastening
SFS Group is acquiring Ncase Limited, the leading supplier of subframes for rainscreen cladding in the UK. This acquisition strengthens SFS Group's competence in this demanding field of applications and rounds out its offering of its proprietary fastening systems.
Ncase develops, produces and markets high-quality cladding subframes under its well-known brands Nvelope and Kladfix. Acquiring Ncase strengthens the Construction division's competence in rainscreen cladding and represents an attractive add-on to its product portfolio. Customers can now order the entire fastening system for exterior walls - the subframes, fastening elements and engineering services - from a single source.
Ncase is the leading supplier of facade substructures in the UK thanks to a highly experienced team of building envelope specialists, excellent technical support for customers and rapid delivery of project-related services.
The strong international presence of SFS is opening up attractive growth opportunities for Ncase products. This acquisition will significantly enhance the competitive position of the Construction division in the wall cladding market segment. SFS and Ncase have already worked together successfully for several years.
Ncase Ltd. employs 22 people based from their premises in Welwyn Garden City and generates revenues in the single digit millions (GBP). SFS Group intends to strengthen and expand the company's current site as a center of competence for cladding subframes applications. Both parties agreed not to disclose details of the purchase price.
